MEET PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL „DEMOCRATIC EDUCATION VARNA“

 

We are the first school in Bulgaria to receive a license for developing democratic educational model.

​

The 100-year-old example of Alexander Neil and the initiative of Jacob Hecht to create free school communities around the world inspired and motivated a handful of parents in Varna to start one here.

Since its beginning seven years ago, the school has been gathering children of parents who have realized the need for a qualitative change in education. These are parents who have dared to entrust the future of their children on the strength of their own personal potential.

We are located in Varna, in the middle of a forest, overlooking the sea. The natural environment, the quiet, the fresh air and open spaces are major strenght of the new home for our school.
